For some time now, graphene has been talked about as the possible material of the future thanks to its incredible properties such as: flexibility, resistance, conduction and weight, among many others. It is the thinnest compound known to man with only one atom thick and it is revolutionizing the technology industry, medicine and now the circular economy, since research on this material is being directed towards the production of packaging, which could generate a true revolution in the hands of a lighter and more resistant material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To do this, at the beginning of October the European Commission\nled the Graphene Project\nin which he included our country to carry out tests. This project sought\nexplore possible applications in 3 areas: connectivity, flexibility and\ninnovation in packaging. In the latter, the study is proposed on how the\nGraphene could develop anticorrosive coatings and be a contribution to reduce the carbon footprint in the\nsupply chain of packaging, in order to achieve greater sustainability and possible\nrate increases\nof recycling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
