On December 3, Hidronor and the Technological Development Unit (UDT) of the University of Concepción jointly held the seminar “Challenges of the Circular Economy in Industrial Waste”, a meeting developed within the framework of the PTEC Valoriza Más, an initiative in which Hidronor participates as an associated company.
The event brought together representatives from the public, private and academic sectors to address the progress, opportunities and challenges of the Biobío region in the sustainable management of waste.
On behalf of Hidronor, Carolina Escandón, Head of Circular Economy, presented the exhibition “Contributing to the Circular Economy: Solutions and Experiences from Hidronor”, where she addressed the current state of industrial waste in Chile, the opportunities to move towards circular models and our company's contribution to this process.
He also highlighted the importance of strengthening collaboration between industry, authorities and academia to meet the goals set out in the Circular Economy Roadmap.
