At Hidronor, we have been supporting the mining industry for over 20 years with comprehensive environmental solutions tailored to the needs of a region that concentrates a significant portion of the country's productive activity.
As Franco Cid, Northern Zone Commercial Executive at Hidronor, explains:
We collect liquid industrial waste with full traceability, from transport to final disposal. Upon arrival at our plant, the waste undergoes co-processing on the inerting line, where we eliminate contaminants to produce non-hazardous industrial water that is reused within our own processes.
Our work in the northern region also encompasses the remediation and recovery of contaminated land—a challenge of particular relevance to the mining industry.
As explained by Denisse Triviños, Commercial Deputy Manager at Hidronor Chile, nearly 30% of the contaminated sites identified in Chile are located between the Antofagasta and Tarapacá regions; therefore, technical support is key to advancing toward safe and sustainable solutions.
We support our clients by identifying contaminated sites, characterizing waste, and evaluating various solution alternatives. We work alongside them to provide timely responses tailored to the needs of each project.
