La gestión de residuos en Chile enfrenta nuevos desafíos.  El avance de la REP Law, las nuevas exigencias regulatorias, la trazabilidad y el impulso de la circular economy están llevando a las organizaciones a transitar hacia una gestión integral que permita prevenir, reutilizar, reciclar y valorizar los residuos.

Against this backdrop, Hidronor participated in a seminar organized by AIDIS—an event that provided an opportunity to analyze the key challenges and opportunities currently facing waste management in our country.

During the session, topics such as the following were addressed:

• New requirements for waste management, focusing on compliance, traceability, and valorization.
• Adaptation of organizations to the REP Law and its associated regulations.
• Circular economy and Extended Producer Responsibility.
• Waste management from generation to recovery.
• The challenge of transforming waste into resources.

These spaces allow for the sharing of experiences and the exploration of diverse perspectives on a challenge that requires coordinated effort among companies, authorities, and the various stakeholders involved in the management chain.
