We opened the doors of our Pudahuel plant to PUC students.

We welcomed a group of Chemistry PhD students from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile to our Pudahuel Plant. The visit took place as part of the "Chemical Industry Open Day 2026" initiative—promoted by ASIQUIM—which aims to connect students and educational institutions with the industrial sector, creating opportunities to gain firsthand insight into industrial processes, operations, and challenges.

During the day, we toured different areas of our facilities and shared technical and operational aspects of our work with the students. The visit included our laboratory, where they learned about some of the processes that support our operations and spoke with our team about the different stages involved in the industrial waste management and dangerous.

Through these types of encounters, knowledge gained during academic training can be linked to practical application, allowing future professionals to learn firsthand how an industrial facility operates and to understand the environmental, technical, and operational challenges involved in its activities.

For us, opening the doors of our Pudahuel Plant also represents an opportunity to share our experience and contribute to the link between industry and academia, bringing new generations of professionals closer to the work we carry out daily in waste management.

We value ASIQUIM’s initiative and these forums that allow us to bridge the gap between academic training and industrial reality, while fostering an understanding of the various fields where future professionals can build their careers.
