One year after Chile committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 30%, on September 20 at the UN building in New York, President Michelle Bachelet signed the Paris Agreement on climate change. "With this, Chile publicly assumes obligations to reduce its CO2 emissions and joins the group of countries that have taken the option of acting to face climate change," said the President.
