Hidronor optimiza sus instalaciones y procesos para responder a la ley REP.
El pasado 17 de mayo de 2016, se promulgó la Ley Marco para la Gestión de Residuos, la Responsabilidad Extendida del Productor (REP) y Fomento al Reciclaje, conocida popularmente como «Ley REP» (Ley N° 20.920). Dicha ley tiene por objetivo, disminuir la generación de residuos, promoviendo la reutilización y el reciclaje a través de la responsabilidad extendida a las empresas productoras de seis gamas dentro del mercado definidas como prioritarias: aceites lubricantes, aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos, baterías, envases y embalajes, pilas y neumáticos.
