Desde hace un tiempo, se viene hablando del grafeno como el posible material del futuro gracias a sus increíbles propiedades como: flexibilidad, resistencia, conducción y peso, entre muchas otras. Es el compuesto más delgado conocido por el hombre con solo un átomo de espesor y está revolucionando la industria tecnológica, la medicina y ahora la circular economy, ya que la investigación de este material se está direccionando hacia la producción de envases, lo que podría generar una verdadera revolución de la mano de un material más liviano y resistente.

To do this, at the beginning of October the European Commission led the Graphene Project in which he included our country to carry out tests. This project sought explore possible applications in 3 areas: connectivity, flexibility and innovation in packaging. In the latter, the study is proposed on how the Graphene could develop anticorrosive coatings and be a contribution to reduce the carbon footprint in the supply chain of packaging, in order to achieve greater sustainability and possible rate increases of recycling.
