Moving toward more sustainable waste management requires not only having appropriate treatment solutions in place but also engaging people from the moment waste is generated. With this in mind, we held a training session in collaboration with ALS Patagonia aimed at strengthening source segregation and promoting comprehensive waste management.
The activity took place at the ALS Patagonia facilities, located in the Los Libertadores Industrial Park in Colina, and involved nearly 40 employees, including area supervisors, operators, and managers.
One of the training's main focuses was proper source segregation. Adequately separating waste at the point of generation is essential to prevent cross-contamination between different materials and to ensure that those with recovery potential can be effectively recycled or valorized.
The participation of staff members from various areas and levels of the organization also made it possible to broaden the scope of the training and facilitate the subsequent sharing of the knowledge gained with their respective work teams.
Cristóbal Bueno, Commercial Executive, participated on behalf of Hidronor, overseeing the activity and the implementation process for this new phase of the service.
Through initiatives like this, we continue to provide comprehensive support to our clients, promoting best practices from the point of waste generation and contributing to management processes that facilitate recycling and recovery. ♻️
