The gestión de residuos peligrosos (RESPEL) es un tema de preocupación mundial debido al gran impacto negativo que pueden producir en el medio ambiente si no se tratan con eficacia. La magnitud y duración de los mismos dependerá del tipo de residuo y de la modalidad en que se realicen las operaciones de manejo en cada una de las etapas.
