On June 24, we participated in a technical visit organized by ClimaTech Chile at the facilities of the University of Concepción’s Technological Development Unit (UDT), where the Biobío Region Waste Inventory—prepared as part of the *Valoriza Más* project—was presented.
Carolina Escandón, Head of Circular Economy, represented Hidronor and engaged with representatives from industry, academia, and the public sector, reinforcing our commitment to developing solutions that promote more sustainable waste management.
As a company associated with this initiative, we value the generation of information that enables the identification of waste valorization opportunities and strengthens collaborative efforts among industry, academia, and the public sector to drive circular economy solutions.
The event also included the signing of a collaboration agreement between UDT and ClimaTech Chile, an agreement aimed at strengthening the development of projects focused on waste valorization and the implementation of sustainable solutions. The agreement was also signed by the companies participating in the event.
Our participation in this gathering reaffirms Hidronor’s commitment to collaboration, innovation, and the development of initiatives that contribute to more efficient environmental management and the utilization of waste as new resources.
