With the aim of further strengthening our collaborative work with clients, we at Hidronor conducted a technical visit to Novandino Litio’s Salar del Carmen Chemical Plant in the Antofagasta Region—a company that plays a vital role in the development of the lithium industry and the transition to cleaner energy.

The primary objective of the visit was to gain firsthand insight into the operational challenges associated with waste management and to continue identifying opportunities to optimize the services provided by Hidronor, thereby contributing to the achievement of environmental and sustainability goals and standards.

Participants in the session included Humberto Carvajal, Lithium Operations Manager; Franco Montalván, Production Superintendent; Valentín Barrera, Sustainability Deputy Manager; and Pamela Varas, Change Agent. We were able to discuss shared objectives and new opportunities to further strengthen our services with them.

These visits enable us to better understand our clients' needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop solutions that are increasingly efficient and aligned with their sustainability goals. Furthermore, they reinforce a way of working based on close relationships, trust, and ongoing collaboration.
