One of the key takeaways from the seminar “Challenges of the Circular Economy in Industrial Waste”, organized by Hidronor together with the UDT of the University of Concepción within the framework of the PTEC Valoriza Más, was the importance of bringing technological development closer to the real challenges of the industry.
As a partner company of the PTEC Valoriza Más program, at Hidronor we deeply value these collaborative spaces that bring together academia, industry, and the public sector, driving innovative solutions for the valorization of industrial waste. ♻️
The circular economy demands alternatives that are not only technically feasible but also implementable at an industrial scale, safe, and aligned with the regulatory framework. In this context, technology transfer and collaborative work become key to transforming knowledge into concrete environmental and productive impact.
We thank those who participated as speakers in this seminar: Patricia Hormazábal Canales (SEREMI of the Environment), Ernesto Bravo (SEREMI of Health), Carla Pérez Quilodrán (PTEC Valoriza Más), Isidora Muñoz (Industrial Fishermen of Biobío), Humberto Miguel San Martín (HIMCE Companies), Carolina Escandón (Hidronor Chile) and Dr. Juan Carlos Carrasco-Moraga (UDT UdeC), for their valuable contributions and for enriching the dialogue from complementary perspectives that strengthen the progress towards a circular economy.
We remain committed to promoting initiatives that strengthen applied innovation and contribute to more sustainable and circular waste management, in line with the country's challenges. 💡🌱
