This March 22nd, we commemorate World Water Day, a vital resource for life that faces increasingly complex challenges: water scarcity, pollution, and growing global demand. In Chile, where freshwater availability is severely impacted by drought and climate change, its responsible management has become an urgent and shared responsibility.
At Hidronor, we understand that proper management of liquid waste (LIW) is essential to protecting water sources and reducing pressure on natural resources. Therefore, we develop technical and environmental solutions that not only allow us to treat this waste, but also to recover its value safely and sustainably.
Reuse of wastewater in our processes 💧
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we reuse treated wastewater in our production processes, transforming waste into an operational resource. This practice directly contributes to addressing the water crisis and reducing water consumption in our operations.
This management is reflected in concrete results: during the year 2025, we valorized more than 63,000 tons of liquid industrial waste (LIW), contributing directly to a more efficient and responsible water management.
On this World Water Day, at Hidronor we renew our commitment to the responsible management of water and the environment, moving towards a more sustainable future for people, businesses, and the planet. 🌱
