We attended the traditional Mining Business Dinner hosted by the Antofagasta Industrialists' Association (AIA)—held on September 2nd amidst the iconic Huanchaca Ruins as part of Mining Month. The event brought together key sector authorities, executives, and supplier companies to commemorate the association's anniversary and look toward the industry's future.
During the evening, the keynote address addressed the key challenges of the energy transition, environmental sustainability, the promotion of regional investment, and the strengthening of the local supplier value chain—topics that currently shape the mining agenda in the country's north.
We value opportunities like this, which allow us to strengthen our ties with the mining industry and its key stakeholders, in line with our commitment to supporting the sector in addressing its environmental challenges.
We thank the AIA for the invitation and for creating a space for meeting and public-private collaboration that is so vital to the development of the Chilean mining industry.
