As is well known, toxic waste is responsible for causing multiple damages to health and pollution of the environment (water, air, soil, flora and fauna).

In the industrial area, these wastes come from a greater number of activities such as mining, construction, online production, among other activities that, by law in our country, require on-site treatments or the contracting of external companies dedicated to their management to reduce the impact and toxicity and deposit or dispose of them safely.

When these wastes are produced and are not controlled in time, they are capable of altering the physical and chemical properties of the soil, giving off polluting gases that are then breathed in by animals and humans, polluting the water by the dragging of wastes that are finally deposited. in lakes and oceans, among other negative consequences.

The good news is that today there are multiple mechanisms, studies and treatments that companies can implement to reduce the environmental impact they cause. For this, there are two recommended alternatives: creating and equipping an internal waste management department with the highest standards in technology and knowledge (more expensive option) or, hiring external companies that have the know-how, experiencia, personal y herramientas técnicas especializadas para realizar estos procesos.

Fulfilling this objective, Hidronor has more than 25 years of experience in the transport, treatment, disposal, revaluation, recovery and recycling of waste in Chile, and is positioned as the main company in the country dedicated to treating hazardous waste (RESPEL) externally or in situ.
