Hidronor participated in the Year-End Closing event of the National Association of the Recycling Industry (ANIR A.G.), where the 2024 Recycling and Recovery Statistics for Chile, prepared in collaboration with Kyklos Chile, were presented. 🤝📊
The study provides an updated overview of the state of recycling in the country, addressing strategic sectors such as automotive and packaging, all fundamental to moving towards a solid and sustainable circular economy. 🌱🔄
Key valuation results during 2024:
- Used lubricating oils (ALU): 47.6% recovery rate 🛢️
- Batteries at End of Life (BFU): 63.1% recovery rate 🔋
- End-of-life tires (ELTs): 21.5% revaluation 🚗
- Cardboard: 48.3% valuation 📦
Looking ahead to 2025, the report identifies increasing household recycling rates and strengthening demand for byproducts generated from waste recovery as priority challenges, since greater interest in these materials drives their proper management and recovery. 🚀♻️
At Hidronor, we value these collaborative opportunities that allow us to move towards more efficient and safe waste management, aligned with the country's sustainability goals. 🌎
